Terms of Service

Article 1 (Applicability)

These Terms shall apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service between the user and JOCOLLA (hereinafter referred to as "the Company").

Article 2 (Registration)

Registration for use shall be completed when an applicant for registration applies for registration by the method prescribed by the Company and the Company approves the application.

Article 3 (Prohibited Acts)

Users must not engage in the following acts when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws and regulations or public order and morals
• Acts related to criminal acts
• Acts that destroy or interfere with the functions of the Company's server or network
• Acts of collecting or accumulating personal information, etc. about other users

Article 4 (Copyright)

Users may only post or edit text, images, videos, and other information using the Service if they own the necessary intellectual property rights such as copyrights themselves or have obtained permission from the necessary rights holders.

Article 5 (Cheers)

The service includes a feature called a cheer, which lets a user send money to support another user's work. The following applies to cheers.

• A cheer is sent in support of the recipient's work. Neither we nor the recipient owe anything in return other than the money itself.
• We receive 20% of the cheer as a platform fee. The payment processing fee charged by our payment provider is borne by the recipient.
• Because of the nature of a cheer, refunds and cancellations are not available once payment is complete, except where a duplicate charge, a system fault, or another cause attributable to us has occurred.
• To receive cheers, a user must have completed the identity checks required by our payment provider. Until then, cheers cannot be received.
• Where misuse is suspected, we may suspend or reverse a cheer.

Article 6 (Disclaimer)

We make no express or implied warranty that the service is free of defects in fact or in law. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for any damage arising from the service. Disputes between users are to be settled between the parties concerned.

Article 7 (Changes to these terms)

We may change these terms at any time without notice where we judge it necessary. The changed terms take effect when displayed on the service.

Article 8 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute concerning the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.

Article 9 (Language)

The Japanese text of these terms is the authoritative version. Text in any other language is a reference translation; if it differs from the Japanese, the Japanese prevails.
